Are you concerned about the future of your community? Do you want to be informed—and have your say? Join the Pender Harbour and Area Residents Association (PHARA) for an in-person Town Hall where residents can hear updates, ask questions and take part in open discussion. All residents welcome.
Topics will include:
Update on PHARA’s legal challenge related to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA) and the latest on dock licences.
A sewer/wastewater initiative for Madeira Park’s core
Community Hall roof replacement update
Madeira Park Elementary grounds and building updates
Pacific Ocean Discovery Station update
Other ongoing community initiatives
An open mic session will follow the presentations, giving residents the opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions, and suggest ideas. The Town Hall will be followed immediately by PHARA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) for those members who wish to learn more or get involved.
